I got myself new aquarell watercolors (White Nights, also known as Yarka) and wanted to test them on something. The "something" turned into quite a piece, I'd say, I'm very happy with the result. So far I think it's my best painting. I used some references for the fur pattern but the style I used messed it up.

This was a 14" x 17" acrylic and marker painting I did that sold at CF12. It's my husband's charachter out hunting. It's the first painterly sort of thing I did for quite some time. I am not sure if I like acrylics yet.

For the last few years I've drawn several cover images (and plenty of illustrations) for this one local sci-fi magazine called Spin. I'm not very good at drawing flak cannons and space ships, but I like illustrating fantasy themed short stories. This is going to be the cover for the fourth issue. The editor wanted me to draw unicorns.
